Case Study: The Software Behind Coyote Group’s Nightlife Venues

Coyote Group (coyotegroup.org) is a Bulgarian nightlife and hospitality group. Its venues include CAVO, Za Zú, Bedroom Beach Club and The 1 in Sunny Beach, and Mancó, Bedroom Club, Pink Balloon, Play Bar, Secrets, Illuzion, Level and The 1 Exclusive in Sofia. Afterteam, the software studio of Aftergroup in Sofia, has built and run the group’s software for more than six years.
The problem
A nightlife group lives on its tables. Every venue sells reservations, takes deposits for the best ones, and has to know at the door who is coming, where they sit and whether they have paid. The beach venues open for a short, intense summer season; the city venues take over from September. Menus and prices change often, and the numbers from every venue have to land in one place. Off-the-shelf tools covered parts of this, each in its own system.
What we built
Afterbook: table booking and the door
Afterbook (afterbook.live) is the booking system the venues run on. For the 2026 season it was set up for twelve Coyote venues, each with its own floor plan, seat types and pricing. Guests pick a table, choose a date and party size, and pay a deposit online by card. Hosts work from an iPad-first board at the door, with the guest list, table status and confirmations in one place. Confirmations go out by SMS.

Aftermenu: digital QR menus
Mancó, Bedroom Club, Bedroom Beach, CAVO Beach, Za Zú Lounge, Pink Balloon and Play Bar have all run their menus on Aftermenu (aftermenu.com). Each menu is bilingual, Bulgarian and English, with photos, categories and prices, and sits behind a permanent QR code on the table. When prices change, as they did for every venue in Bulgaria with the switch to the euro on 1 January 2026, the menu is updated once and every code stays the same.

Aftercash: the finance back office
Aftercash brings the group’s cash desks, bank accounts and payroll into one system and turns each day’s numbers into reports per venue and per company, so the owner sees the whole group in one view.
Events, automated
Each venue’s weekly programme starts as a poster uploaded to a shared folder. From there an automated pipeline reads the poster, publishes the event on coyotegroup.org and adds it to the venue’s Afterbook, so guests can book a table for that night without anyone retyping it.
How we work with Coyote
- One team for everything. Afterteam designs, builds, hosts and supports every piece, so there is one place to call during a busy night.
- Built around the season. Beach venues are switched on for summer and off for autumn, and the city venues take over, without rebuilding anything.
- AI in the workflow. The same agentic tooling Afterteam builds with also runs day-to-day work such as publishing events and keeping venue data in sync.
